Let’s make a change in European and National Mentoring policies

Dear mentoring practitioners, researchers and friends of mentoring in Europe,

Join our action in reaching out to European & national policy and decision makers by joining our online event. It is time to draw attention to mentoring and mentoring programmes, and to communicate that our services are more needed than ever. The initiative for supporting mentoring as a tool for empowering vulnerable groups is happening worldwide, involving leaders from Europe, Canada, US, Singapore, South Africa, UK and India.

A world-wide mentoring movement is starting
In the past months, a world-wide mentoring movement has emerged: the Power of Mentoring movement. Goal of this movement is to call for the recognition of mentoring on high levels within politics, government and corporates. US, Canadian, Indian, African and Asian mentoring network organizations took this initiative, along with the European Center for

Evidence-Based Mentoring.
In June 2020, leaders of this world-wide mentoring network together wrote a statement. This statement is going to be spread all over the world, in the coming months.

European steps to advocate for mentoring
The advocacy commission of the European Center took initiative to create a European action plan of the movement. We made a European message to be sent to representatives of EU government and parliament, along with Power of Mentoring letter.
